Fantastical Quests uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how people use the portal. This policy explains what we store, why we store it, and how you can control it.
How this site remembers you
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to keep track of your settings – things like which articles you've already read, or whether you've dismissed a notice. These preferences make the portal easier to use on return visits.
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they reach their expiry date or you delete them. Most of ours are session cookies; a handful persist for up to twelve months.
The analytics question
We use analytics software to see which pages are read most often and where visitors arrive from. The data is aggregated – we can't identify you personally from it. The tool we use is a standard third-party service, configured to anonymise IP addresses before logging them.
Analytics cookies let us improve the portal by showing what works and what doesn't. You can block them without breaking any part of the site.
Scripts we do not control
Some pages may embed content from external platforms – a video player, a map, or a social-media post. Those embeds may set their own cookies, governed by the third party's policy rather than ours. We do not control what they store or how they use it.
Where practical, we configure embeds to load only after you interact with them. That limits how many third-party cookies reach your device without your knowledge.
Your options
Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies after each session. The settings are usually found under Privacy or Security. Be aware that blocking all cookies may stop some websites from working as intended, though this portal will remain readable.
You can also clear cookies manually at any time. Your browser's help documentation explains how.
Revisions
We update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The revised version is published on this page, and the date at the top of the policy shows when it was last altered. Continued use of the portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
